When it's more than a hangover

Go to a hospital emergency department immediately if you or a friend has confusion, seizures, blurred or double vision, chest pain, vomiting that will not stop, or cannot be woken properly — these can signal alcohol poisoning or, rarely, drinks contaminated with methanol.
