Health check-up in Koh Samui
Full body check-up packages with blood work, vitals and an unhurried doctor's review — done in one walk-in visit at our Chaweng clinic.
Why do a check-up on holiday?
Plenty of our patients have been meaning to get a full check-up for months — then finally have the free time while they are on the island. Others are long-stay visitors, digital nomads or expats who simply need a reliable annual review without flying to Bangkok. A health check-up in Koh Samui at our clinic covers the essentials in a single morning: fasting blood work, physical examination, vital signs and a face-to-face review of every result with an English-speaking doctor.
What our check-up packages include
Packages are tiered so you only pay for what makes sense at your age and health history. A typical full body screen includes:
- Blood work: complete blood count, fasting glucose, cholesterol and lipid profile, kidney and liver function, uric acid — see our blood test page for the full menu
- Vitals and body measurements: blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, BMI
- Physical examination: heart, lungs, abdomen, skin, lymph nodes
- Doctor's review: your results explained line by line, with a written summary you can take to your doctor at home
We can add thyroid function, HbA1c, vitamin D, hepatitis screening or discreet STD testing to any package. Because the lab is on site, most results are ready the same day or the next morning.
How the visit works
No appointment is needed — we are a walk-in clinic in Chaweng, open daily with a doctor on call 24 hours. For fasting blood work, come in the morning having had nothing but water for 8–12 hours. The blood draw and examination take about 30 minutes; you are free to go for breakfast afterwards while the lab runs your samples. When results are ready, the doctor sits down with you to go through them, answers your questions and, if anything needs attention, dispenses what you need from our on-site pharmacy or arranges follow-up. Prefer not to travel? Our doctors also visit hotels and villas island-wide and can take blood at your accommodation.
Costs, insurance and paperwork
Check-up prices are fixed and quoted before any blood is drawn, so there are no surprises. Many travel and expat policies cover medically indicated tests, and we offer direct billing with most travel insurers — bring your policy details and we will handle the paperwork. Every patient leaves with an itemised receipt and an English-language medical report suitable for insurers, employers or your GP back home.
A note on symptoms
A check-up is for when you feel well. If you currently have chest pain, sudden breathlessness, severe abdominal pain, confusion or signs of stroke, do not book a screening — go to a hospital emergency department immediately. For non-urgent symptoms such as fatigue, fever or stomach trouble, skip the package and see us for a focused consultation instead; call +66 83 150 2520 or message us and we will tell you honestly which option fits.
