The draw itself takes only a moment, and while the lab runs your sample you are free to head back to the beach. Once the results are in, the doctor goes through them with you line by line, in plain English, and our on-site pharmacy means any treatment can start the same day. If you would rather not leave your resort, we also offer a doctor hotel visit anywhere on the island: the doctor comes to your room, collects the sample and delivers your results by phone or WhatsApp.

Prices, insurance and getting your results

A blood test in Koh Samui is usually far less expensive than travellers expect, and we quote the price before anything is done — no surprises on the bill. We offer direct billing with most travel insurers, and for everyone else we provide itemised receipts and a medical report your insurer will accept for reimbursement. When you should not wait for lab results

Blood tests answer questions — they should never delay urgent care. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, confusion, severe abdominal pain, repeated vomiting with signs of dehydration, uncontrolled bleeding or fainting, go directly to a hospital emergency department. For everything short of an emergency, walk in during the day or call us any time and we will tell you honestly whether testing, treatment or reassurance is what you actually need.
